Miami Humidity and How It Affects Our Bodies: Why We Get Bloated Even When We Exercise

The humidity in Miami is something that many of my clients and models deal with regularly. Even though they work out hard and stay active, they often struggle with bloating and inflammation. This happens because the body has a harder time releasing excess fluids in a humid environment. No matter how much we exercise, the body can hold onto water, leading to that uncomfortable swollen feeling.


This is where a solid wellness routine becomes essential. It’s not just about exercising; it’s about taking care of your whole body. That’s why I always recommend a diet rich in fruits and vegetables, drinking plenty of water, and incorporating sauna sessions to help detoxify the body. Plus, lymphatic drainage massage plays a huge role in helping to reduce inflammation and boost circulation.


For the best results, I suggest keeping up with a weekly session for at least 3 consecutive months. This helps to tackle the persistent bloating and inflammation caused by the humidity while improving overall well-being.
